- Design and implement robust analytical data infrastructure that supports business intelligence
- Manage and optimize cloud resources across multiple AWS services
- Extract transform and integrate data from diverse sources with precision and efficiency
- Explore emerging technologies to enhance data processing capabilities
- Collaborate with data scientists and business intelligence experts to develop innovative reporting solutions

Your day will be a dynamic blend of technical problem-solving and collaborative innovation. Youll architect data solutions optimize complex pipelines and work closely with cross-functional teams to unlock the potential of our advertising technology platform.
About the team
We are a passionate group of data professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of advertising technology. Our team thrives on solving complex challenges embracing advanced technologies and creating scalable solutions that drive business growth.
- 3 years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
- Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python Java Scala or NodeJS
- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift S3 AWS Glue EMR Kinesis FireHose Lambda and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage document or key-value stores graph databases column-family databases)
- Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop Hive Spark EMR
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
- Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
- Experience building/operating highly available distributed systems of data extraction ingestion and processing of large data sets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
