Job Summary:
The ASRS Agile Java Software Developer will contribute to software development projects aimed at improving business operations. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position requiring candidates eligible for full-time employment conversion. The developer will be a member of an Agile Scrum team participating in sprints and delivering functionality. The role involves working on various parts of the application including automated tests UI controller logic back-end services and database operations.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in Agile Scrum team activities.
- Develop and maintain software applications using Java and related technologies.
- Work on all tiers of the application including automated tests UI controller logic back-end services and database operations.
- Contribute to the development pipeline and methodology rooted in DevOps.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders as well as an experienced Technical Lead.
- Utilize Atlassian Agile and JIRA for team activities.
- Participate in Agile Scrum team activities.
- Develop and maintain software applications using Java and related technologies.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Java.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with JQuery Bootstrap Java 8/17 Cucumber Selenium Apache Tomcat the Spring Framework and Oracle databases.
