Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Upholstery Technician I
LOCATION: Dallas TX
PAY RATE: $24.50/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform upholstery functions within design customer FAA and specifications completing all tasks per work order instructions.
Fit and install panels windows cabin headliners sidewalls hatch panels bulkheads and carpets.
Create carpet patterns per design drawings and complete installation.
Fabricate and install various metal parts coverings and trim as required.
Use the material tracking system to create parts demand track discrepancies and sign off work.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Entry-level position.
Experience with commercial sewing machines sergers or hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades preferred.
Proficiency in reading writing and understanding English.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
Skilled in using measuring tools and performing basic math computations.
Computer literacy required.
Ability to climb ladders/stairs work in confined spaces lift up to 40 lbs and work any assigned shift.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
