Job Summary
Introduction
* Relevant Degree in Food Technology Business or equivalent and experience in sales or food science preferably in FMCG sector. A minimum of 3 years experience in the handling of Key Accounts. Fluency is Afrikaans is essential. Valid drivers license.*
Description:
A food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a Key Accounts Manager Factories to join their team. The Key Accounts Manager will report to the Area Sales Manager. The duties include but are not limited to:
Achieve Budget requirements.
Develop call schedules.
Plan sales calls to ensure a value-added approach.
Plan on building market share across all categories.
Demonstrate products to clients.
Build client relationships and ensure service effectiveness.
Conduct regular customer performance reviews.
Develop and implement promotional activity.
Build on and research product and industry knowledge.
Submit reports by the required deadlines.
Proactively look for new business and market opportunities.
Manage sales administration and other duties as required.
Provide market intelligence feedback.
Develop agreements as and when required.
Manage interns and other staff allocated to the role and customer base.
Key Requirements:
Relevant Degree in Food Technology Business or equivalent and experience in sales or food science preferably in FMCG sector. A minimum of 3 years experience in the handling of Key Accounts or in a Sales Supervisor role is required. A valid drivers license is required. Fluency is Afrikaans is essential.
Additional Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have business acumen be disciplined and good time management. Experience in customer service and relationship building. Be resilient and have positive outlook.
