Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is looking for an Engineering Manager: Winders to be based at a Mine in the North West!
Responsibilities:
- Legally appointed 2.13.1 ensuring full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and all winder-related statutory requirements.
- Provide expert technical leadership to ensure the safe reliable and efficient operation of all winders and associated shaft systems.
- Audit review and update Winder Codes of Practice (COPs) standards and regulations to maintain operational excellence and legal compliance.
- Define and oversee winder specifications upgrades and capital projects in collaboration with OEMs and consultants to ensure long-term equipment sustainability.
- Lead train and mentor winder personnel driving performance skills development and readiness to respond effectively to breakdowns and operational challenges.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- GCC Mines and Works
- 10 years working experience commissioning fault finding and conducting repairs on Winders
- Valid Drivers License Code 08
