Job Summary
This role will see you manage the beautiful grounds of the prestigious Kings School in North Parramatta. Oversee all aspects of site operations including scheduling resource management client liaison and leadership and development of a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team providing guidance and support to ensure the needs of the client are met and exceeded.
- Plan schedule and oversee planting high detail pruning hedging fertilising and pest control
- Collaborate with the client to understand their preferences address concerns and provide recommendations
- Conduct site assessments to identify maintenance needs develop work plans and estimate resource requirements
- Implement a turf program for seasonal weeds within turf
- Manage inventory of tools equipment and supplies
- Provide monthly reporting to management
- Foster a culture of safety

About You
- You are a qualified horticulturist with a strong background working across high quality garden sites.
- You have or are willing to obtain a valid white card and working with children check. You are also prepared to undertake a national police check - this is an absolute requirement given the nature of this site.
- You are computer literate and have excellent organisational skills.
- You have previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role where you have proven yourself to be able to motivate and develop your team members to get the best out of them. This role will have responsibility for performance management of staff and also ensuring successful training of apprentices.
- Above all you have a can-do attitude and thrive under pressure - no two days will be the same in this fast-paced role.
