FAMILY and HEALTH SERVICES COORDINATOR

The Family and Health Services Coordinator plans develops implements and oversees family and health/nutrition services data entry community partnershipsfor Head Start Early Head Start and ECEAP programs. The Family and Health Services Coordinator oversees family engagement and health services providing support technical assistance and supervision of work with families as comprehensive and high quality services are addition the Family and Health Services Coordinator oversees family and health services policies and procedures for agency employees. Under direction of the Program Director the Family Services Coordinator acts as a lead for OCCDA driven community and health referrals and as a liaison with local social service community based organizations and health clinics and providers. The Family and Health Services Coordinator ensures OCCDAs compliance with applicable regulations and performance standards including child care licensing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan coordinate and oversee the delivery of family engagement health and nutrition services for enrolled families.
- Support Family Services staff in implementing comprehensive family-centered services.
- Develop and maintain family and health services policies procedures and documentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards ECEAP requirements and state licensing regulations.
- Manage data entry and reporting for family and health services in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
- Serve as a liaison with community agencies social service organizations and healthcare providers to support family and child well-being.
- Provide professional development technical assistance and ongoing support to staff to strengthen program quality.
- Collaborate with other program areas to ensure coordinated services.
- Participate in strategic planning and continuous quality improvement efforts for family and health services.
- Represent the agency at community meetings and networks that enhance access to family and health resources.
Required Education and Experience:
- AA Degree in ECE social work human services family services counseling or a related field.
OR 2 years relevant experience
OR combination of College and Education
Details:
- 40hr per week for 52 weeks per year
- Wage is $23.25 per hour for qualified applicant
