Our Hornsby Day Program is seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Support Worker to join our team in North-West Sydney. What I Will Be Doing:

As a Senior Support Worker in Northcotts Hornsby Day Program I will contribute positively to the community by assisting the Coordinator with daily operations and empowering customers to achieve their life goals build independence and actively participate in their community.

I will:

Demonstrate my two years experience supporting people with disabilities helping them achieve their personal goals and outcomes.
Work across various on-site programs includingAdult Recreational Life Skills Work and Study and Skills for Life.
Support customers in their day-to-day activities helping them build confidence independence and meaningful connections.
Facilitate engaging group activities such as art drama music cooking gardening or travel training.
Assist with theWork and Study Skills program supporting customers to explore employment or education pathways.
Develop and maintainpositive relationships with customers families and external stakeholders.
Implement and reviewIndividual Program Plans ensuring customer goals are person-centred and outcome-focused.
Demonstrateproblem-solving and decision-making skills by identifying challenges and developing practical solutions.
Apply a strong understanding ofWork Health and Safety (WHS) principles to create a safe and supportive environment.
Work bothautonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
