Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall management responsibility for all off shift operations located at the Wickliffe facility

Maintain a safe working environment and assure compliance with safety rules
Management and coordination of all off shift operations and personnel
Responsible for following up and implementing manufacturing methods improvement productivity improvements and quality/scrap improvement as determined by area managers
Coordination of staffing and personnel deployment decisions in all areas
Coordination of daily manufacturing plans in all areas
Coordinate efforts of all off shift personnel working through designated Supervisors and Leads to solve problems improve quality reduce scrap increase capacity and reduce costs in all areas
Interaction with SMP internal support organizations (i.e. engineering maintenance & quality) in connection with departmental initiatives
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 5 years experience in Manufacturing Operations
Minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing Direct Supervision
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Fundamental understanding of product flow in all manufacturing areas
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in Investment Casting industry preferred
