About The Opportunity

We at Programmed Facility Management are seeking experienced Maintenance Carpentersto join our Karratha Team. In this integral role you will be part of an essential team that provides general maintenance and carpentry to various private facilities and dwellings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete any general maintenance and installation of cabinets doors patching flooring or other fixtures used in building
  • Use of hand tools machines or power tools as required
  • Occasionally frameworks formworks roofing tiling (desirable or willing to be upskilled)
  • Flexible approach to wider general maintenance duties
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment

About You

To join our team you will be a qualified Carpenter who has experience in a domestic or commercial environment has excellent attention to detail and a strength for delivering a high quality service without compromise. You are a key person within the Team promoting staff morale while displaying a can do and team player attitude. Additionally you will provide first-class customer service whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself and others at all times.

Additionally you will possess:

  • Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • VALID C Class License (mandatory)
  • Certificate III in Carpentry & Joinery (mandatory)
  • Locksmith experience (desirable)
  • Construction White Card
  • Working at Heights (desirable)
  • First Aid training and other Trade based competencies (desirable)
  • Intermediate Technology Skills (for smart devices)
  • Hand Tools for the Trade (preferred)
