The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location work experience education licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:
$46200.00 - $69200.00Purpose Statement: The Automation Technician will provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills to design implement and maintain automated solutions that enhance efficiency accuracy and safety within Plexus. Through continuous learning and innovation they strive to optimize operations and contribute to Plexus success.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Executes manufacturing solutions/ provide services that are high-quality cost-appropriate and satisfy the customers requirements and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
- Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation analysis and verification of documentation programs models processes or production as it applies to their role.
- Demonstrates a basic discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus manufacturing processes / product requirements & specifications as it applies to their role.
- Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus manufacturing processes. Provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
- Basic understanding of equipment process control safety risk awareness setup awareness and operation as it applies to their role.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of a One (1) year completed of an Associates degree OR the completion of a Diploma in a discipline related to Electronics / Manufacturing / Engineering or Science.
- One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
