Overview
The Business Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful execution of initiatives within the Risk Management function. This individual will lead cross-functional projects and manage program-level workstreams.
The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience stakeholder engagement skills and an understanding of risk or governance processes within a regulated or operationally complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of business-driven projects
- Develop detailed project plans manage milestones monitor progress and report on outcomes.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings: prepare agendas briefing materials minutes and track action items.
- Identify and resolve risks issues and roadblocks across project lifecycles.
- Support the development of internal communications status updates and stakeholder engagement materials.
- Collaborate with functional leads (e.g. IT Legal Ops) to align project goals with business objectives and risk priorities.
- Develop clear and concise reporting for senior leadership and risk committees.
What were looking for
Required:
- 5 years of experience in project management business coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Comfortable interacting with cross-functional stakeholders including senior-level participants.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with PM tools and technologies (e.g. Jira Python SQL)
- Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
Preferred:
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with minimal supervision.
