The Opportunity

Are you passionate about privacy compliance and making a real impact in a dynamic retail environment As a U.S. Privacy Compliance Analyst youll support the Director Associate General Counsel Privacy (US) in monitoring reviewing and implementing US state privacy laws. You will collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding IT/InfoSec ecommerce analytics/marketing legal and Peopleto ensure QVCs privacy practices are robust customer-centric and future-ready.

Highlights of the Role:

  • Play a key role in interpreting and implementing US state privacy laws ensuring QVCs data practices remain compliant and customer centric.
  • Work at the intersection of law technology and business supporting privacy assessments and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
  • Influence privacy best practices and help shape QVCs privacy policies and processes.
  • Stay ahead of evolving privacy regulations and industry trends with opportunities to expand your expertise through hands-on experience.
  • Be a key point of contact for privacy-related queries from internal teams and customers.

Location: West Chester PA (Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.)

Your Impact

  • Support the monitoring review and implementation of US state privacy laws ensuring QVCs compliance and readiness.
  • Conduct privacy assessments and DPIAs for higher-risk uses of personal data collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in designing implementing and reviewing privacy policies notices and practices to enable compliance and process improvement.
  • Create and maintain playbooks/SOPs for privacy processes (e.g. data subject request fulfillment).
  • Develop and deliver privacy training and communications promoting privacy awareness and best practices across the US team.
  • Respond to day-to-day business and customer requests regarding personal data use escalating as needed.
  • Contribute to global data privacy and information governance projects.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree (preferred); CIPP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in data privacy compliance activities at a consumer-oriented business.
  • Strong knowledge of US state privacy laws and ability to implement requirements into company processes.
  • Experience conducting privacy assessments supporting data subject requests and drafting privacy policies and notices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to educate and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills (Word Outlook Excel) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Assist in other projects in support of global data privacy and information governance program.
