Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Job Title: Teamcenter Data Migration Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Execute and validate metadata and NX file loads into Teamcenter.
Run and manage OOTB utilities including CSV2TCXML TCXMLIMPORT and TCINIMPORT.
Spot-check load results troubleshoot errors and coordinate fixes with relevant business units.
Support end-to-end NX CAD model load processes typically executed over multi-week cycles.
Develop and enhance scripts using Python C and C#.NET to automate log parsing data validation and process improvements.
Drive continuous process improvement and develop minor tools or utilities to streamline operations.
Collaborate closely with the India Data Migration team and participate in short daily syncs with the US counterparts (approx. 30 mins).
Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter (data migration load processes or system administration).
Proficiency in C and C#.NET (mandatory).
Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
Understanding of Teamcenter data models and NX CAD integration.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
Prior experience in process automation or tooling improvement preferred.
Team Structure
Total Team Size: 9 members
Data Migration Sub-teams:
Extraction Team (56 members): Legacy system experts managing data extraction and validation with business units.
Load Team: Focused on Teamcenter data and NX model load execution and validation
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
7 years of experience in data migration or related PLM environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global team setup.
Proactive problem solver with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
