About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to lead all Direct and Indirect Procurement activities across Southeast Asia. This high-impact role is responsible for managing a total procurement spend of USD 160 million covering key categories in SEA such as Chemicals Packaging Contract Manufacturing Capex Logistics Equipment. The successful candidate will lead a team of 9 direct reports and play a key role in driving procurement strategy operational excellence supplier management and cost optimization across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Leadership: Lead end-to-end procurement activities for Direct and Indirect categories across Southeast Asia markets.
Spend Management:Oversee and optimize a total procurement spend of USD 160 million ensuring value creation cost-efficiency and risk mitigation.
Team Leadership: Manage develop and inspire a team of 9 direct reports across multiple markets in Southeast Asia. Foster a high-performance culture and talent development.
Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior cross-functional stakeholders including Supply Chain Operations Finance Marketing Sales and R&D to ensure alignment of procurement goals with business objectives.
Supplier Relationship Management: Develop strategic supplier partnerships and performance management initiatives to ensure quality reliability and sustainability.
Process Excellence & Compliance: Drive procurement process improvements ensure compliance with global and regional policies and implement best-in-class procurement practices.
Market & Risk Analysis: Monitor market trends supply chain risks and emerging opportunities to support proactive procurement planning and innovation.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
Minimum 10 years of procurement experience with strong exposure to both Direct and Indirect categories.
Proven experience managing large regional spend (>USD 100M) and leading diverse teams.
Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement at regional and senior levels.
Proven track record of managing the team minimum of 4 people
Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia as required.
