Position: Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructor
Location: Athens Campus
Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety
Reports to: Program Chair for Surgical Technology and Divisional Academic Dean
Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for specified courses.
- Evaluates students progress in attaining goals and objectives.
- Prepares and maintains all required documentation for administrative report.
- Displays a high level of efforts and commitment to performing work.
- Operates effectively within the organizational structure.
- Assist with recruitment and retention.
- Manage all aspects of the classroom and laboratory.
- Daily operations maintain safety equipment and inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree.
- Two (2) years of related work experience.
- Must be a National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certified.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- Experience teaching at a postsecondary level.
