Youre a Senior Account Executive Data Social.
This person a professional who is an expert in distilling online information and digital culture. This role combines the curiosity and analytical mindset of a trends monitoring and insights expert with the speed and fluency of a social-first strategist.
This person will work at the intersection of real-time data and digital storytelling helping track what people are saying spot whats coming next and shape how our clients show up across digital platforms. From surfacing reputational signals to crafting platform-native narratives this role is for someone who can move from data to action quickly.
What are your responsibilities
Social Monitoring & Intelligence
- Monitor traditional and social media using tools like Meltwater Sprout Social Brandwatch etc.
- Translate media data into actionable insights and concise client-ready reporting.
- Identify reputational risks conversation trends and whitespace opportunities in real-time.
Platform Strategy & Execution
- Track evolving platform behaviors (LinkedIn TikTok Instagram X Reddit Threads) and advise on what content works where.
- Support the development of social-led campaigns and content strategies that resonate with target audiences.
Content & Community Awareness
- Recommend digital storytelling formats (video carousels threads etc.) based on audience consumption patterns.
- Help monitor and manage brand engagement across platforms including direct audience responses.
AI-Enabled Workflows
- Use AI tools to synthesize insights streamline workflows and generate first-draft content or visuals.
- Support innovation in how we work identifying opportunities to pilot new tools and tech.
What kind of background should I have
- Digitally Fluent: You instinctively understand how narratives travel online what builds momentum and where audiences are paying attention.
- Analytical & Strategic: Youre gather data and spot patterns framing insights and tying it back to business goals.
- Audience-First: You think from the outside in understanding how people consume and engage with content in the real world.
- Fast & Curious: Youre energized by a fast-paced environment and always scanning for whats next.
- AI-Forward: You see AI as a co-pilot and want to experiment learn and lead the way.
What type of person should I be
- 1-3 years of experience in social media digital communications or marketing/PR (agency or in-house).
- Familiarity with social listening/monitoring platforms direct experience a plus (e.g. Meltwater Brandwatch Talkwalker Sprout Social).
- Understanding of content formats across major platforms (LinkedIn TikTok Instagram X Reddit Threads etc.).
- Comfortable using data dashboards or analytics tools to extract insights.
- Bonus: Experience with or interest in generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT Midjourney Canva Magic etc.).
- Based in or willing to relocate to Halifax. Regular working hours of 8:00 AM 4:00 PM AT.
