The Inventory Analyst position is responsible for monitoring and reporting on our companys inventory levels. You will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems reviewing levels of supplies reviewing order plans and performing a daily analysis. This position reports to the Purchasing and Material Control Manager. Qualifications - Promote excellence throughout the department
- Bachelors degree in business administration finance or relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of data analysis inventory management software and forecasting techniques.
- An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities: - Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
- Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
- Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
- Problem solving discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
- Performing complete inventory checks of all stock and supplies once a year
- Lead cycle counting inventory throughout the year.
- Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports from previous inventory reports to purchasing trends.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations stock levels and adjustments.
- Evaluate new inventory opportunities.
- Updating ERP records with updated and relevant data
- Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
