Country Manor Health Care Center is hiring a Life Enrichment Programmer! What will your days look like You will spend your days with residents doing everything from singing dancing baking chatting crafting reading going on walks at patio parties enjoying visits from Kids Country students going out on off-campus excursions to places like the bowling alley shopping mall sporting events theatres restaurants and so much more. As a Life Enrichment Programmer youll get to know each of our uniquely wonderful residents and develop/host activities (small group and 1:1) that cater to their personal interests hobbies and life experiences.
This is a full-time M-F 9:00 am - 5:30 pm position plus every 4th Sunday 8:30 am - Noon and rotating holidays.
Life Enrichment Programmer Responsibilities Include:
- Visiting with residents one on one
- Helping to create activity calendars
- Planning and leading activities and special events
- Transporting residents to and from activities and excursions
- Visiting and interacting with residents during activities
- Assessing residents to establish individualized activity programs based on their needs
- Experience with memory loss preferred
The ideal candidate will have a caring and outgoing personality enabling them to lead and interact with residents during activities.
This is a full-time M-F 9:00 am - 5:30 pm position and every 4th Sunday 8:30 am - Noon plus rotating holidays
