Shipside Operations Specialist

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Shipside Operations Specialist to support the Fabrication Aerostructures Support team based out of Orangeburg South Carolina.

This position will provide critical production support for product deliveries including improving production efficiency safety and optimizing product quality.

Position Responsibilities:

• Use technical knowledge understanding of process flow and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.
• Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
• Analyzes and interprets data.
• Provides feedback on assessment results.
• Assist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issues.
• Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address recurring and high impact issues.
• Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items.
• Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates.
• Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing experience
• 3 years of experience with operations analysis or operations research
• 3 years of experience with root cause analysis
• Analytical communication and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
• 3 years experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience working with customers
