The Role
Squares mission is to empower businesses of every size to start run and grow. As we expand our presence across the UK were hiring a strategic and execution-focused Sales leader to drive telesales growth across theSMB and Mid-Market segments.
This is a build-and-scale opportunity in one of Squares most dynamic markets. The core team and strategy are established but the systems processes and structure for sustained growth are still evolving. Youll sit on Squares International Sales leadership team working closely with Marketing Product Finance and Operations to align telesales strategy with broader go-to-market execution.
Were looking for a leader who combines strategic clarity with hands-on drivesomeone who can set the vision coach the team and get into the details when needed.
You Will:
- Define and execute the UK Telesales strategy setting clear objectives and performance standards across SMB and Mid-Market segments.
- Lead and develop Account Executive and Sales Management teams to deliver consistent pipeline growth and revenue attainment.
- Drive accountability and excellence ensuring operational rigor and measurable impact.
- Establish scalable sales processes that enable predictable results and efficient team operations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing Product Finance and Sales Operations to align on campaigns forecasting and go-to-market initiatives.
- Refine and optimize outbound and inbound sales motions using data-driven insights.
- Represent the voice of UK sellers and customers influencing product priorities and market strategy.
- Foster a high-performance culture grounded in accountability inclusion and collaboration.
You Have:
- 8 years of B2B sales experience in technology or financial services with a strong record of growth and execution.
- 3 years of leadership experience managing multi-layered sales teams.
- Proven success building and scaling Sales strategies that deliver results in competitive markets.
- Experience aligning Sales Marketing and Product functions to drive cohesive go-to-market plans.
- A hands-on analytical approach to leadership with strong commercial acumen.
- Deep understanding of the UK SMB and Mid-Market landscape preferred.
- Passion for helping local businesses thrive and advancing Squares mission globally.
