Job Summary

An experienced Head Housekeeper is required to manage a large formal private residence in North Lincolnshire. This is a hands-on role overseeing a team of full-time housekeepers and coordinating with gardeners maintenance staff and contractors.

The successful candidate will be highly organised discreet personable and experienced in running a similar high-end property ensuring the house is always maintained to an exceptional standard while remaining a welcoming family home.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and supervising the housekeeping team and rotas
Overseeing daily weekly and seasonal cleaning schedules
Caring for art antiques fine fabrics and furnishings
Managing inventories purchasing and household administration
Liaising with contractors maintenance and security
Organising shooting parties and preparing the house for family visits

Requirements

Proven Head Housekeeper experience in a similar private household
Strong organisational and people-management skills
Excellent references and a history of long-term employment
Commitment to a long-term role

Package

Full-time: 40 hours per week (MondayFriday with alternate weekends)
Salary: 40000 gross per annum
Live-in accommodation provided rent-free (council tax paid)
Partners welcome; dependants considered
Start date: ASAP
