Job Summary

Expression of Interest eHealth Trainers

Now that Synergy 2.0 has gone live in the hospital we are we are moving towards further digitisation of the patients health records in the coming 1-2 years. The Hospital is preparing for the training phase and are seeking staff who are interested in becoming eHealth trainers.
Training is integral to the hospitals digital transformation and will significantly contribute to its overall success. EHealth Trainers are responsible for delivering training and support related to electronic health systems digital tools and health information technologies within the hospital. Their goal is to improve staff proficiency optimise technology use and enhance patient engagement through digital health solutions. EHealth Trainers are being sought from clinical staff from various departments within the Hospital particularly those in disciplines such as Nursing Medicine Pharmacy and Health and Social Care Professionals. (HSCP).

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Training Delivery:
  • Conduct training sessions for hospital staff on electronic patient records (EPR) and future eHealth applications.
  • Develop training plan and update training materials manuals e-Learning and other online resources tailored to different user groups.
  • Provide one-on-one sessions and group workshops to enhance hospital staffs digital competencies.
  1. User Support:
  • Serve as a point of contact for staff needing training assistance with e-Health applications.
  • Troubleshoot common issues or escalate to ICT Service Desk when necessary.
  • Monitor training outcomes and gather feedback to improve future training programs.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with clinical teams ICT department and administration to identify training needs.
  • Participate in the rollout of new digital health initiatives ensuring smooth adoption by hospital staff.
  1. Compliance and Best Practices:
  • Ensure training content aligns with hospital policies data privacy laws and health information security standards.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Be involved in clinical audits for EPR and e-Health applications as needed.
  • Stay updated on emerging digital health technologies and trends.
  • Recommend improvements to digital tools and training programs based on user feedback and evolving hospital needs.


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Have a clinical background
  • Be proficient with the use Synergy EVOLVE ICE and basic Microsoft Office applications (Word PowerPoint Excel)
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Interest in training E-health applications and digital transformation
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for digital tools
