Job Summary
GolfCourse Mechanic
What Youll Do
As part of our team at Palatine Hills Golf Course you are essential to keeping our operations running at its best.Your responsibilities include ensuring all maintenance equipment and vehicles are in top condition through thorough inspection accurate diagnosis and expert repair of mechanical issues. Additionally youll lead our preventative maintenance program maintaining detailed service records to support long-term reliability and performance.
This position also includes:
- Reel mower grinding setup and maintenance ensuring precision and consistency in turf care
- Daily monitoring and inspection of cut quality across the course to uphold playing standards
- Operating golf course equipment and providing on-course support when needed
- General shop upkeep and assisting with special course projects as they arise

What Were Looking For
- ASE Certified Mechanic preferred with 1 year of full-time experience or equivalent
- Valid Class Illinois D drivers license
- High school graduate GED or equivalent
- 1-3 years ofgolfcourse experience preferred or equivalent with some experience in landscaping orgolfcourse maintenance general labor cleaning and repair

The pay range for this role is $29.80/ hr. - $34.60/hr depending on experience.
