ABOUT THE ROLE

ExoAnalytic Solutions is seeking a Lead Software Architect to design and guide development of real-time software for interceptors and kill vehicles. This position will lead architecture and integration efforts for high-assurance flight-critical systems operating in real-time operating system (RTOS) environments.

Youll define software frameworks oversee system-level interfaces and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable secure and deterministic software solutions for national defense missions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Define software architectures for real-time and embedded systems
Lead software design reviews code quality and integration strategies
Oversee development across multiple RTOS environments (e.g. VxWorks RTEMS Integrity)
Collaborate with hardware systems and test teams to ensure performance and safety
Mentor junior engineers and establish software development best practices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Physics Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in real-time or embedded software development
Expertise withRTOS architectures and multi-threaded applications
Proven experience developing mission-critical systems for aerospace or defense
U.S. citizenship required with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
Experience withmissile interceptor or kill vehicle flight software
Knowledge ofguidance navigation and control (GNC) interfaces and algorithms
Experience withDevSecOps microservice architectures and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing

SALARY RANGE

$115000 - $200000 annually.
