Overview
Join Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad as a Brand & Communications Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting social media and digital marketing initiatives. Youll work closely with experienced professionals assisting in projects that shape our brand voice and engage our audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
Contribute to the development of creative assets such as visuals videos and copywriting working closely with internal teams and external agencies.
Assist to follow-up provide feedback and schedule content for the companys social media channels and other digital platforms.
Assist in monitoring social media channels for trends and reporting on performance.
Assist in coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure alignment on contents.
Help maintain and update content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting across channels.
Digital Marketing (SEO/SEM/Corporate Website Maintenance)
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure website content is up-to-date user-friendly and aligned with brand messaging.
Assist in optimizing website content for search engines (SEO) including keyword research metadata updates and on-page enhancements.
Support the execution and monitoring of paid search campaigns (SEM).
Help analyze website traffic and performance using tools such as Google Analytics compile reports and insights to guide strategy.
Contribute to the development of website pages for new products and campaigns ensuring alignment with digital goals and SEO best practices.
Stay updated on digital trends and search engine algorithm changes to support continuous improvement efforts.
Learning Opportunities

Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn Facebook Instagram YouTube TikTok Xiaohongshu).
Basic skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
Basic understanding of SEO principles including keyword research and on-page optimization.
Basic understanding with tools such as Google Analytics and Meta.
Basic experience with website content management systems (e.g. OpenCMS Adobe Experience Manager) or willing to learn.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes for website updates and audits.
Curious about digital trends user experience (UX) and how content impacts search visibility.
Detail-oriented organised and eager to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
