The Position

Position - Head Market Access & Policy

Your Opportunity

You shall lead market access pricing reimbursement tenders patient access solutions patient group engagement and policy initiatives to expand access and optimize market/business conditions for Roche India. Manage internal teams to deliver on these objectives while building external partnerships to co-create solutions for faster and broader access to medicines. Drive government and access policy development aligned with Roches bold ambitions and India strategy. In this role you will expand and accelerate access to healthcare and our innovative medicines - for the patients in India. You will be based out of Delhi & report to General Manager - India

Key Responsibilities

• Access strategy development and execution.

• Guide teams with vision and coaching to achieve outcomes.

• Collaborate with global access and pricing teams to secure effective access and pricing in India.

• Build Roches reputation with policymakers as an innovative patient-focused organization / partner they can rely on to strengthen the nation.

• Represent Roche in industry forums government committees and advocacy platforms to shape access policies ethically.

• Develop and implement affordable risk-sharing or early access programs aligned with local healthcare needs.

• Engage decision-makers in national and state health systems to strengthen healthcare systems.

• Foster partnerships and alliances to enhance access.

• Share best practices and innovative solutions across Clusters for improved outcomes.

• Contribute to IES by supporting development and realization of affiliate and IES objectives.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders like Cluster Heads Head of reimbursed accounts HSPs License To Operate functions (eg Compliance Legal PV MAP Pricing etc) Access CoE Global Access Team Access Heads and Teams in other affiliates etc & external stakeholders like Strategic alliance partners Policy makers Government officials HCPs Clinical sites Business partners Service providers Regulatory Bodies Hospitals Doctors Patients Groups NGOs Industry Bodies

Who You Are

• Strong VACC Leader with a collaborative enterprise-focused mindset high performance and exceptional people management skills

• Expertise in pricing models reimbursement strategies and managing access timelines aligned with brand and corporate goals

• Skilled in developing and executing access strategies for product lifecycle launch excellence and market sustainability.

• In-depth knowledge of Indias complex healthcare system including public/private sectors Ayushman Bharat NLEM NPPA and state-level access challenges.

• Proficient in health economics cost-effectiveness analyses budget impact models and creating payer-relevant value propositions.

• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare policies HTA processes and reimbursement frameworks with a strong focus on compliance.

Qualification

• Post Graduate degree from a premier institute

• 8 years of experience working with MNC & global stakeholders

• 5 years of experience in public health healthcare development access
