About the Role
This role forms part of the Revenue Accounting team which is designed to ensure a high
level of integrity of data within the Springer Nature accounts whilst providing a support service to the business in the areas of financial accounting management reporting tax and editorial across Springer Nature for the Research and Education divisions.
The main purpose of this role is to prepare a number of monthly accounting entries for local and global revenues ensuring that our accounting is in in line with international accounting standards with internal accounting guidelines and with contracted agreements with customers. This role works closely with Management Reporting colleagues in order to manage the flow of revenue information to and from the business. This role also includes some specialised ad hoc work falling outside of our regular accounting calendar such as system implementation projects automation and enhancing efficiency using AI. This Revenue Accountant position would suit someone who is at least part qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) and who has previous experience working in a revenue accounting role.
This role can be in our Basingstoke office on a hybrid working model.
