We are currently recruiting a permanent Senior Engineering Officer Network Planning. This role can be based anywhere within ouroperational footprintwith the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.
About the role
As the Senior Engineering Officer Network Planning you will play a key leadership role in providing technical advice network analysis and strategic planning across Essential Energys Asset Management and Engineering division. Youll be responsible for identifying and evaluating network constraints developing investment options and optimising the performance of our energy network assets.
This role is critical to ensuring our network remains reliable efficient and future-ready. Youll contribute to the development and implementation of asset management plans support process improvements and provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders.

You are a technically skilled and solutions-focused professional with extensive experience in the energy or utilities sector. You bring a strong understanding of electricity distribution systems sound engineering judgment and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Your ability to manage complex technical issues and contribute to strategic planning makes you a valuable asset to the team.
