Job description
The IT Security Engineer plays a crucial role in the IT Security Team at Signode within the Corporate EMEA IT department. This position involves architecting implementing and administering security systems focusing on endpoint cloud and server security.
Essential Functions:
Administer IT security systems like network firewalls email security systems EDR/XDR solutions and vulnerability management platforms.
Design and implement cloud on-premises and hybrid architecture.
Lead global rollouts of security management software.
Contribute to the IT security incident response team.
Evaluate new tools for innovative security solutions.
Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in business or IT Technical Certifications (Microsoft Cisco AWS) Security Certifications (CCSP SANS ISC2 ISACA).
Experience: 5 years in information security hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and proficiency in security systems.
Skills:
General: Strong knowledge of application security firewalls server administration databases and emerging threats.
Personal: Passion for security integrity excellent communication skills and advanced problem-solving abilities.
