Quality Inspector Airport

AECOM is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. This position is based on-site out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world. 

Responsibilities:

• Undertakes quality control and quality assurance related inspection activities throughout the design construction handover and closeout phases.

• Prepares and presents regular progress reports including reporting on key quality metrics including suggesting corrective actions.

• Ensures conformance to the required quality management standards.

• Provides input to submittals RFIs O&M manuals and other technical documentation as needed.

• Participate in punch lists testing and commissioning.

• Provides input to documentation for area/equipment turnovers.

• Implements and follows quality assurance program procedures.

• Coaching mentoring and supporting the career development of staff.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• BS  Minimum 4 years of professional experience in large complex projects.

• Good understanding of reporting requirements and experience in providing management reports.

• Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including contractors and other site personnel.

• Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.

Preferred Requirements:

• 6 years  of professional experience in a quality control and / or quality assurance function.

• On-site experience.
