Job Summary
We are seeking a Principal Public Health & Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru this senior-level position you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of communities through innovative engineering solutions that address both public health concerns and fire protection challenges.
- Lead and oversee complex public health and fire protection engineering projects from conception to completion
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation strategies for various facilities and infrastructure
- Design and evaluate fire protection systems and public health measures for new and existing buildings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local national and international building codes and regulations
- Provide expert consultation on emergency response planning and disaster preparedness
- Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering their professional development
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in public health and fire protection engineering
- Represent the organization in industry forums and professional associations
- Contribute to the development of company policies and best practices in public health and fire safety
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Public Health Fire Protection Engineering or a closely related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in public health and fire protection engineering with a proven track record of successful project completion
- Advanced knowledge of public health principles and fire protection engineering practices
- Expertise in building codes regulations and industry standards related to public health and fire safety
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for design modeling and analysis
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers
- Relevant certifications in fire safety and public health (e.g. Certified Fire Protection Specialist Certified in Public Health)
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and emergency response planning
- Willingness to travel as required for project sites and professional development
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
