Job Summary
- You will synthesize silica particles with precisely controlled sizes and narrow size distributions and evaluate their performance in analytical applications.
- You will develop silica particles and/or composite structures with diverse three-dimensional architecturessuch as solid porous or hollow formstailored to specific application needs.
- You will functionalize particle surfaces using chemical linkers and biomolecules through established reaction pathways including click chemistry.
- You will characterize the particles and contribute to the development of in-process controls and robust production protocols.
Qualifications :
- You are an enrolled student and have a . degree in chemistry material science or a related field.
- You are curious and eager to learn.
- Teamwork and open communication are part of your key values
- You are well organized flexible and conscientiously document your laboratory results.
- You feel comfortable communicating in English. German is a plus.
- You are familiar with basics in inorganic organic and biochemistry. Knowledge in particle synthesis particle characterization and flow cytometry is a plus.
- Your workplace is Bergisch Gladbach.
