We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Finance Officer to join our team in the Financial Services Unit at Council for a period of 12 months with a possible extension.
As the Senior Finance Officer you will provide advice and support in achieving the key objectives of Councils Financial Services this role you will ensure Councils financial functions are maintained in compliance with legislation manage the accounts payable accounts receivable bank reconciliations and the end of the period reconciliations.

$70803 to $81982 per annum plus superannuation
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Accounting Financial Management Business Management or a related field. You should have strong attention to detail the ability to accurately review your own work and demonstrated experience in an accounting environment particularly in accounts payable and receivable. Additionally experience managing month-end processes and maintaining accurate financial records is essential.
