JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible for testing troubleshooting and component level repair and modification of general aviation Avionics Instruments and Accessories.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Essential Job Functions
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits to component level.
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings schematics and technical orders
- Analyze malfunctions using electronic test equipment schematics and technical publications
- Build test equipment utilizing approved design data and/or manufacturers drawings
- Complete all required paperwork related to repairs performed
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area on a daily basis
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking bending and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting lifting carrying pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Education/Training: Degree or training required for role
Experience: At least 5 years of related experience in electronic repair. Other key qualifications include:
- Familiarity with Avionics equipment and systems
- Hands on experience in the use of electronic test equipment hand and soldering tools and other measuring and recording devices.
- Advanced knowledge of Analog and Digital Theory
- Basic knowledge of computers and software
- Strong analytical interpersonal verbal and writing communication skills to accurately document report and assess situations and make judgments
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
