Job Summary

Responsible for managing and executing each Infrastructure Programs strategy for distribution excellence. At the same time continue to build each brand leading to increased industry recognition revenue relevance and respect amongst our target audience: insureds agents brokers carriers and employees. Support the operating financial and strategic goals for all Infrastructure facilities in collaboration with the respective leaders.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Sales Strategy & Prospecting: Implement strategic business development initiatives aimed at driving growth within each Infrastructure Program. Maximize new distribution opportunities through existing and newly appointed agencies nationwide as well as generating direct insured leads through prospecting.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key agency decision-makers of various sizes and geographic location. Serve as the primary point of contact for new distribution partners.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about all 5 industry trends market conditions and competitors. Use this knowledge to help position each Infrastructure insurance product effectively and efficiently ensuring we remain market leaders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the internal teams of each Infrastructure Program including underwriting claims and operations to ensure the seamless execution of sales strategies and service delivery.
  • Performance Tracking: Set and track sales goals provide regular updates to senior management on business development progress and implement corrective actions as needed.

KPI:

  • Appoint 15 new agencies for all Infrastructure programs per year

  • Manage existing distribution to maximize renewal retention new business submission flow and profitability

  • Responsible for Organic Growth in accordance with each programs designated growth States

  • Responsible for territory Organic Growth in accordance with each Infrastructure plan.

  • Act as a liaison between Agency and Underwriting to achieve target hit ratio rate and retention goals outlined in each programs plan

  • Agencies visitations nationwide with expected travel of 10-15 days a month

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development sales or account management within the commercial insurance industry. Experience specifically with property and casualty insurance in addition to program business.

  • Skills:

    • Proven track record of driving sales growth and building long-lasting clients including; direct insureds as well as wholesale and retail distribution relationships.

    • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and market dynamics.

    • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.

    • Ability to think strategically and identify revenue driving opportunities for each of the 5 Infrastructure Programs.

    • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Agencies visitations nationwide with expected travel of 10-15 days a month

  • Education: College diploma or university degree. Valid P&C License and relevant industry certifications (CIC CRM etc.) are a plus.

Department Business Operations

Required Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Up to 50%

Required Education: College diploma (3-year degree)
