Job Summary
Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department
Location: Cleveland OH (Multiple locations throughout OH nearby Cleveland)
Shift: Night 312-hour (19:00 07:30)
Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department at a leading healthcare facility in Cleveland OH. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered compassionate care in a fast-paced emergency environment ensuring safety efficiency and clinical excellence at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs in emergent situations.
- Administer medications treatments and emergency interventions accurately and safely.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to life-threatening or critical care scenarios.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Promote infection prevention and adhere to all safety and quality protocols.
- Provide emotional support and communication to patients and families during high-stress situations.
- Collaborate with physicians advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
- Participate in continuous education training and quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate professionalism adaptability and strong teamwork in all clinical settings.
- Uphold confidentiality ethical standards and evidence-based nursing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience (required).
- Licensure: Active Ohio Registered Nurse License or Compact State License (required).
- Certifications:
- BLS American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS American Heart Association (AHA)
- PALS American Heart Association (AHA)
