Wolfram creator of Mathematica WolframAlpha and Wolfram Language is seeking a highly motivated International Business Developer to drive growth for its System Modeler consulting services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced modeling simulation and AI engaging with innovative companies and research organizations around the world.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing strategies to expand Wolframs System Modeler consulting business internationally
- Identifying and engaging with potential clients in industries such as energy automotive aerospace medtech and industrial automation
- Collaborating with the technical consulting and product development teams to create customized proposals and demonstrate the value of model-based design digital twins and AI-integrated simulation
- Managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing and building long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Representing Wolfram MathCore at industry events conferences and trade fairs
- Contributing to market analysis business forecasting and strategic planning for the consulting division
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
- Bachelors or masters degree in engineering business or a related technical field
- 5 years of experience in international business development or sales ideally within engineering software or technical services
- Excellent interpersonal presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of modeling and simulation tools; familiarity with Modelica FMI or Wolfram System Modeler is a plus
- Proven ability to develop client relationships across different markets and cultures
- Ability to work independently and travel internationally as needed
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in B2B technical consulting or SaaS business development
- Background in systems engineering AI or industrial simulation
- Understanding of contract terms NDAs and compliance issues
