Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and detail-orientedCommercial Insurance Account Managerto join a this role you will collaborate with clients insurance carriers and internal stakeholders to manage commercial insurance accounts efficiently. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships with clients ensuring their commercial insurance needs are fully met.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective commercial clients by ensuring a proactive and professional customer service experience.
  • Provide expert insurance advice analyze client needs and recommend appropriate coverages and solutions.
  • Manage the renewal process including reviewing current policies negotiating terms with carriers and presenting renewal options to clients.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers resolving questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Process client documentation including policy changes endorsements and certificates of insurance with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support the sales team with new business opportunities by preparing quotes presentations and proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and market trends to provide clients with timely and relevant advice.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to enhance client portfolios.
  • Maintain accurate records in the client management system and adhere to company best practices.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance account management customer service or a related role.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages policy rating and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base.
  • Exceptional attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with agency management software (e.g. AMS360 Applied or similar systems) is a plus.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $60K-$90K (based on experience).
