Pay Range: $60 - $65hourly ( travel - $2400.00- $2600.00 weekly)
Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapist for an exciting job in Syracuse NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer oxygen aerosol and positive pressure therapy as prescribed.
- Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and related equipment.
- Perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas sampling.
- Assist in CPR and emergency airway management.
- Evaluate patient response and adjust therapy as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans.
- Document care accurately and adhere to safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Education:A.S. in Respiratory Therapy (required).
- License: Active NY Respiratory Therapist License (required).
- Certifications: BLS (required).
- Experience: 2 years of acute care experience; pediatric experience preferred.
- Skills: Ventilator management ABG analysis and strong critical thinking.
