Job Summary
Work Hours (Client) : 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST Extended hours during tax season
Pay Range : $1500 - $2000 USD/month(varies based on skill set and experience level)
Location of Search : South Africa

Company/Client Overview:
Were currently seeking a Remote Tax Preparer to join our team and help us scale operations with a strong preference for someone who is fluent in Chinese to better serve our expanding Chinese-speaking client base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file personal and business tax returns
- Handle sales tax and payroll tax filings
- Review client-provided financial information and ensure accuracy
- Communicate with clients regarding tax-related documents and deadlines
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date client records and documentation
- Be available for extended hours during tax season
Minimum Requirements:
- Language requirement: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese is required and non-negotiable
- Experience: 13 years of experience in US tax preparation (U.S. personal and business taxes) is required
- Proficient in handling sales tax and payroll tax
- Fluent in Chinese-Mandarin verbal and written.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including Excel Word and Outlook)
- Highly detail-oriented trustworthy and organized
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Willing and able to learn internal tools and adhere to our security protocols
