My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our growing organization based in Durban South.

Duties & Responsibilities

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting expertise and experience in group reporting with future growth prospects into a Group Financial Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of group consolidations for multiple branches
Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
Ensuring compliance with all relevant IFRS and statutory requirements
Preparation and submission of income tax returns
Liaising with auditors tax consultants and other stakeholders
Providing technical accounting support across the group

Requirements:

Qualified CA(SA)
1-3 years of commercial exposure as a group accountant
Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS
Proven experience with group consolidations and financial reporting
Solid understanding of income tax and related compliance
High level of accuracy analytical ability and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
