Job Summary (Pediatrics Office Nurse - RN or LPN)
- Provide direct patient care through assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions for pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records documenting conditions treatments and progress; report changes or concerns promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments ensuring compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
- Educate patients and families about disease management treatment options and preventive healthcare.
- Offer emotional support to patients and advocate for patient rights ensuring compassionate and respectful care.
- Supervise teach and direct clinical support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) in delegated tasks.
- Adhere to hospital policies procedures and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and ethical environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical terminology procedures and equipment.
- Requires at least some prior nursing experience (new graduate nurses not accepted).
- Hold a valid RN or LPN license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing (NH or Compact License must be active).
- Hold current certifications in ACLS and BLS (AHA).
- Full-time position at Monadnock Regional Pediatrics Monadnock Community Hospital.
