Pay Rate : CAD 90 (Inclusive of all)
Work Model : Hybrid (3 days to office)
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with a strong background in Service Desk operations to lead the enhancement of our cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand business requirements translate them into technical solutions and collaborate across multiple business lines to deliver scalable and secure cloud architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement AWS cloud architectures that align with business objectives and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
Lead platform enhancement initiatives ensuring scalability security and cost optimization.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to service desk teams for cloud-related issues and escalations.
Develop and maintain documentation including architecture diagrams operational procedures and knowledge base articles.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
Drive automation and process improvements for cloud operations and service desk workflows.
Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of cloud solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of experience in AWS architecture and design including services like EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM and CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and Service Desk operations.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Hands-on experience with cloud migration cost optimization and security best practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch) and incident management systems.
Knowledge of automation tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible) is a plus.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent certification preferred.
