Location: Phoenix AZ (Onsite Only)
Type: Contract

About the Role

We are looking for a PC Technology Operations Analyst to support the Windows 11 enterprise migration initiative and ongoing hardware deployment operations. This role is responsible for imaging configuring and preparing laptops and desktops for Wells Fargo employees ensuring all systems meet corporate readiness and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform large-scale imaging and configuration of desktop and laptop systems using enterprise-standard tools such as Microsoft Intune Autopilot and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).

Configure devices with the approved Windows 11 baseline image including customized line-of-business applications and user-specific requirements.

  • Manage the intake and refurbishment of legacy Windows 10 devices for reuse upgrading them to Windows 11 in accordance with project timelines.

  • Prepare systems for deployment including hardware upgrades (RAM HDD/SSD swaps) boxing/unboxing and readiness checks.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues escalating complex cases to senior engineers or the technical lead as required.

  • Maintain accurate records of all configuration deployment and support activities in the IT ticketing system.

  • Collaborate with the onsite Lead Engineer and other IT support teams to ensure smooth operations process adherence and consistent end-user experience.

  • Follow established operational procedures and security standards ensuring compliance with enterprise IT policies and data protection guidelines.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues and suggesting process enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows 11 and Windows 10 operating systems - imaging deployment and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Active Directory Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise imaging tools (e.g. Intune Autopilot SCCM OSD).

  • Good understanding of PC hardware components and peripheral device setup.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a focus on end-user satisfaction.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment and manage multiple assignments effectively.

  • Professional communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration across engineering and support teams.
