Job Title Azure API Developer

Location Atlanta GA (Hybrid-onsite)

Interview Mode- Video

Duration: 3-6 Months Contract

Job Description: Seeking a skilled Azure API Developer.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure API management RESTful services and cloud-native development practices.

Responsibilities: Design develop and maintain secure scalable and high-performance APIs using Azure services.

Implement API security measures including authentication authorization and throttling using protocols like OAuth2 and Azure AD.

Utilize Azure services such as Azure Functions API Management (APIM) Service Bus and Logic Apps to build and integrate solutions. Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless API integrations. Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues and conduct code reviews to ensure quality.

Optimize API performance reliability and scalability. Implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployment using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Monitor API performance using Azure services like Application Insights and Azure Monitor.

Document APIs using standards like Swagger/OpenAPI.

Required skills and qualifications. Experience with API design principles and architecture styles (e.g. RESTful GraphQL). Proficiency in programming languages used in the Azure ecosystem such as C# Python or Java. Strong understanding of cloud-based development Azure services and cloud infrastructure.

Familiarity with Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cybersecurity best practices.

Experience with CI/CD practices and tools. Knowledge of databases and storage solutions such as Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
