The Global Experience Peer Advisor will act as the first point of contact for RMIT students who are interested in earning global experience overseas. You are also the one to inspire advise and support besides facilitating exciting events and projects for International Office.
Reports to: Coordinator Global Experience
Key Accountabilities
Act as Global Experience ambassador in introducing students about Global Experience programs through difference channels (facebook page one-on-one meetings online consultations email and phone correspondences).
Assist students in understanding the Global Experience programs and global study programs requirement and application processes based on trained knowledge and available resources.
Support to develop marketing promotional and communication plans for Global Experience programs and events.
Work with other Peer Advisors to manage and run Global Experience Fanpage as well as to organise other events such as Info sessions Get Set Pre-Departure Orientation and promotional activities.
Support International Office in engagement activities: Experience day Campus tour...
Explore and propose updates/enhancements and new marketing trends to the team.
Maintain confidentiality in line with RMITs Code of Conduct.
Assist in the office administrations from time to time; and other duties as assigned.
Key Selection Criteria
Enthusiasm towards study abroad
Experience in student advising/ mentoring/ public speaking/ event management
Positive attitude in delivering customer service
Strong administration and organizational skills
Competent verbal and written communication skills in both Vietnamese and English
An excellent team player and quick adapter
Work well under pressure with multiple deadlines
Understanding about students behaviours passion in an active and dynamic student experience during university is preferred
Successfully completed Exchange/Cross-campus program is an advantage
Adobe Illustrator InDesign and Photoshop skills are great advantage.
Additional Information
Contract duration: 12 months
Workload: 20 hours per week (normal office hours: 8:30 am 5:30 pm).
Net salary: 65000 VND per hour

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role the minimum requirement is IELTS General 6.5 (or equivalent Linguaskill 170).
