Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Payments Business Analyst to join our clients team in Pittsburgh PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Payments domain (SWIFT/ISO20022/ACH) excellent analytical skills and hands-on experience with business process mapping functional documentation and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and define business requirements functional and operational specifications for projects of moderate complexity.

Formulate and document system scope objectives constraints and assumptions based on user needs.

Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of technology solutions.

Gather and translate business or functional requirements into detailed functional designs test plans and user documentation.

Participate in functional design discussions analyze business process flows and identify areas for process improvement.

Conduct testing including case development requirement traceability script writing and execution.

Train end-users on new or enhanced applications and systems.

Apply knowledge of regulatory legal and corporate risk control policies to support development of compliant processes.

Use data analytics to provide insights and identify hidden patterns that can drive process and system improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:

7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Payments domain.

Strong understanding of SWIFT / ISO20022 (MT MX messages) and ACH (NACHA formats).

Working knowledge of Agile methodology and participation in Agile ceremonies.

Proficiency in Data Analytics and ability to work with large diverse data sets.

Exposure to Java or Python development environments for collaboration with product teams (a plus).

Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with banking or financial services environments preferred.
