Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive VMware Administrator to design deploy and manage a robust virtual infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware Veeam and Omnissa Horizon (VDI) and will play a key role in ensuring system reliability scalability and performance across a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Design deploy and maintain VMware-based virtual infrastructure ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Administer and support Omnissa Horizon environments for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
-
Manage and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication to maintain data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and factory operations teams to implement new systems and technologies.
-
Perform system upgrades patch management and regular maintenance across server and virtual environments.
-
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations processes and disaster recovery procedures.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues providing Tier II/III technical support.
-
Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to critical system incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

68 years of experience in VMware administration and virtual infrastructure management.

Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere ESXi and Horizon VDI.

Proficiency in Veeam Backup & Replication tools.
-
Experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
-
Solid understanding of networking concepts storage systems and disaster recovery strategies.
-
Excellent troubleshooting analytical and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently in a factory or production environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as VMware VCP Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or similar.

Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools (PowerCLI Ansible SolarWinds etc.).
