Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced project manager with a banking and financial services background to lead our project delivery organization and drive strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This senior leadership role will oversee a portfolio of complex cross-functional projects while building and mentoring a high-performing team of project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project vision and align initiatives with overall business strategy
• Oversee portfolio of projects ensuring appropriate prioritization and resource allocation
• Lead mentor and develop project managers and cross-functional teams
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including C-suite executives
• Communicate project status risks and outcomes to senior leadership
• Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget
• Identify assess and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans
• Manage project budgets forecasts and financial reporting to maximize ROI
• Establish and enforce project management standards methodologies and best practices
• Lead organizational change initiatives and drive adoption of new processes and systems
• Conduct project reviews audits and post-implementation evaluations
• Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Computer Science or related field
• 10 years of project management experience with at least 5 years leading project managers
• Proven track record managing complex cross-functional multi-million-dollar projects
• Mastery of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Lean Six Sigma)
• PMP PgMP or equivalent certification
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and cost control experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience leading organizational change initiatives
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project Jira Asana)

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree or MBA
• Agile/Scrum or Change Management certification
• Experience establishing PMO functions
